Automatic night lamp circuit. The circuit utilizes light-dependant resistors (LDR) for sensing darkness and light in the room. The resistance of LDR is very high in darkness, which reduces to minimum when LDR is fully illuminated. The automatic operation of night lamp controlling systems helps to reduce the energy consumption as compared to the manually operated night lamp controlling operations. This is because there is a delay in the earlier switching operations both in morning (during sunrise) and evening (during sunset).
